Motorola V3 - Ace Fashion Device

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jayson_Pablo]Jayson Pablo It has been quite sometime that MOTORAZR V3 was launched and it has managed to secure its position and capture the niche market. It was perhaps one of the first slim phones incepted by Motorola and it was a runaway success too. And now that it has proved its mettle and inspired others of the concept of beautiful technology, let us try to analyse the pros and cons of this mobile phone in detail. Motorola V3 is a delicate looking fashionable gadget that is only 13.9 mm thin and looks exquisite in its clamshell design. The exterior of this mobile phone is made up of aluminum that makes it sturdy and light in weight. The cool blue back lighting effect can be seen when the phone is in use. The internal screen of Motorola V3 is176×220 Pixels and its TFT display reflects a panorama of 256,00 colours through it. So outwardly, Motorola V3 is bundled with the most impressive features. Talking of its technicalities, Motorola V3 works on Quad-Band GSM network that makes it fully functional in all parts of America and all around the world. Furthermore, the features as GPRS and Bluetooth enhance its connectivity features. Though the camera of Motorola V3 is a mere VGA resolution, it gives a decent picture quality in accordance with the camera. There is also the provision of e-mailing and web browsing that could also be done through this handset. The user can listen and view videos with the help of its MPEG4 player. The Motorola V3 also offers an incredible talk time up to 7 hours and standby time up to 280 hours that adds on to the calling features of this device. However, the paltry 5.5MB internal memory is an area that acts as a major drawback in this device. The manufacturers say that this mobile phone is made as a fashion phone that doesn’t require a big memory. So the justification is accepted, but Motorola V3 could have been much more desirable if there would have been an external card slot in it. Thus Motorola V3 looks like an interesting device that is a combination of both fashion and technology! The Advantages of Parlay Betting

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Adel_Awwad]Adel Awwad The advantage of parlay betting is winnings are begetting more winnings. Lets use an example of four sixes being thrown in a row at the dice table. If you had a place bet of $6 dollars on the six you could take down your winnings each time. You would end up with a profit of $7 dollars four times or $28. If instead you had raised your bet by multiples of six then the profit would have been far greater. The first roll of six would have netted out a dollar profit and a new total bet of $12. When this bet hits you net out $2 profit and raise your new bet to $24. The next winning bet would net out $4 profit and raise your new bet to $48. When this bet hits you have a net profit of $56 +$48 +$7-your original bet of $6. This leaves a net gain of $105. This illustrates the advantage of parlay betting. If your bet lost after the 2nd six was rolled, you would have a net loss of only $3. If your bet lost after the 3rd six was rolled, you would have a net gain of $1 Another way to play this same scenario is to only raise the bet by six dollars each time and keep the rest. After the second roll you are always guaranteed a profit. Parlays can be played in almost any gambling game. The variations are endless and which variation you choose depends on how aggressive you want to be. The obvious reward is if your luck stays with you, you will make substantially more money than you would straight flat bets. If you couple this parlay play with a game that pays odds, and your bets are successful, your gain could be far greater than it would have been. Parlays in come bets on the dice table are often the reason that a player makes a huge score at a casino. A twenty-pass roll is mind boggling in the possible gain from a starting bet of only two dollars. Parlay betting follows the rule of play the rush. When you are winning, you should be increasing your bets. That is the way expert gamblers make killings at casinos. The average player does just the opposite and lowers the bet instead of increasing the bet. They want to make sure they keep what they have just won. It is a mind trap that a winning player needs to escape from and not let it kill a winning situation. Challenging Conventional Wisdom

By Daniel Sitter Challenging conventional wisdom…what a concept! How few of us are willing to risk moving out of our comfort zone, learning to push conventional wisdom aside and grow. Why is it called conventional wisdom anyway? Why; Perhaps, because the very idea of it is associated with being safe and secure. Is that where we really want to be? In today’s fast-changing and ever-shrinking world, new ideas, methods, and processes are being conceived, installed and operated at breakneck speed like never before. There is little room for conventional wisdom anymore, unless of course you are content with living in a bubble, with little direction or growth intentions. I like the old adage, “if you are not growing, you are dying.” Marketing and sales, as well as many other fields, require constant movement and adjustment. The term conventional wisdom reminds me the old excuse because thats the way we have always done it. This overly-used phrase is nothing more than a crude crutch for countless persons. Did you know that someone, in totally-blind ignorance, once had the audacity to say publicly that all the inventions that will ever be invented had already been invented? There is no need for the patent office anymore. As ridiculous as that notion appears today, that particular statement was made at the turn of the 20th century. If anything, we can only dare to imagine the discoveries and advancements that will be made in the next 5 years, let alone the next century! Think Star Wars or the Jetsons. Certainly, there are instances where conventional wisdom is quite appropriate, such as well-accepted norms of behavior, testing procedures and religious practices. I challenge however, the notion of accepting conventional wisdom at the expense of personal and intellectual growth. That is where the element of fear enters in and restricts so many people. Generally, most fear at this level is simply imagined in our minds-eye, thus creating barriers to our progress, self-development and career advances. Although appearing and feeling quite real, it is not. At this point, we need to train ourselves to be conscious of our actual circumstances and work through this fear to find the rewards awaiting us. Franklin D. Roosevelt spoke in his first inaugural address The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. He truly understood people and human nature. FDR would never settle for accepting conventional wisdom, and neither should you. In the world of selling your own ideas, products and services, we must be continuously growing beyond our comfort zone, challenging conventional wisdom along the way. Our ability to persuade others to our point of view as well as our ability to match our goods and services to the needs and wants of others, depends upon living and working in a dynamic environment, not the static world of conventional wisdom. Daniel Sitter, author of the popular e-book, Learning For Profit, and the highly anticipated book, Superior Selling Skills, has extensive experience in sales, training, marketing and personal development over a successful 25 year career. www.learningforprofit.com/ . Bracket Buster Weekend

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Al_McMordie]Al McMordie As we approach the home stretch in college basketballs regular season, handicappers look more and more at how meaningful a game might be to a particular team. There are conference races taking place, tournament seedings and even RPI ratings at stake for many teams. Of course, there are also meaningless games with nothing at stake. These points are particularly true with Saturdays Bracket Buster games. Several teams are matched up against each other with losing records with pretty much nothing at stake. The name Bracket Buster gives the illusion that every game has an interesting nonconference matchup that should provide some kind of excitement. As George and Ira Gershwin once wrote, “It aint necessarily so.” Here are some meaningless games this weekend featuring teams with losing records: Indiana State/Western Michigan, Wright State/Bowling Green and Delaware/Cleveland State. You couldnt give me a ticket to see those games. Another factor to consider is that these are nonconference games, so the scheduling spot is unusual for all teams. That is, some teams are in close battles for first place in their respective conferences, and now they have to step OUT of conference play Saturday, and then jump back into conference play the next game sometime next week. Teams that are focused on catching another team in the conference, for instance, have to put that aside for one game and worry about a WIN rather than conference positioning. Its important to keep close tabs on teams that may be looking past their bracket buster battle. Louisiana Tech plays at Southern Illinois Saturday, as the WAC meets the Missouri Valley Conference. Southern Illinois is not likely to lay down for this game, as they are always tough at home. They recently had a 33-game home win streak end, so they take great pride in defending their home turf. On the other hand, Southern Illinois is currently locked in a wild race in the Missouri Valley Conference. So to suddenly play a team from the WAC in the middle of this great race is unusual. A handicapper needs to take all these factors into consideration. There are also some interesting games where RPI and power ratings are at stake. Again, Southern Illinois is one of these, with an 18-8 record as they close in on a 20-win season. Another is George Mason at Wichita State, featuring two powerhouse teams from the MVC and the Colonial. Many sports fans might overlook a game like Bucknell at Northern Iowa at first glance, but it is an interesting battle between two 20-win teams that are looking to improve their RPI rankings. Bucknell is ranked 24th in the nation. Also remember that one team has the home court edge, which means it’s critical to check how the opponent plays on the road. So, Bracket Buster weekend offers some interesting matchups where intangibles can be a big part of the equation. But it also offers duds like Youngstown State/Canisius! Enjoy the weekend….Al McMordie. Al McMordie is a documented member of the Professional Handicappers League. What Loan to Get?

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Mark_Lambie]Mark Lambie There are many kinds of financial tools out there to incorporate into your financial portfolio. You might consider stocks or bonds or even your bank account as potential investments. But your financial portfolio also includes such things as insurance and estate planning. Do you ever stop to consider that your financial portfolio may also include a loan? It’s true. A loan can be a wise financial decision for many people. What follows are a selection of loans that you might consider incorporating into your financial portfolio. Just like any other financial tool a loan is only good in moderation. Just as you don’t fill your financial portfolio with insurance, you wouldn’t stack up loans if they become available. Before you decide which of the best loans for you consider the two types of loans available. Unsecured loans are loans that do not have any assets to guarantee them while secured loans are loans that are backed up by assets and assure the lending institution they will recoup their losses if you’re unable to pay back the loan. In many cases, a secured loan is the best loan to get. So what kind of secured loan should you get? You have many choices. If you have debts that are out of control you may consider getting a debt consolidation loan or a bad credit loan to help you pull together all of your outstanding debts and turn them into a single fixed monthly payment at a lower interest rates. You’ll be surprised at the money you save by lowering your rate, lengthening the term to repay, and arranging for a fixed monthly payment rather than receiving many monthly payments in the mail. Another kind of secured loan you may want to consider is a home improvement loan. A home improvement loan is designed to help you leverage your borrowing to increase your investment in your home. You can do this by getting a home improvement loan and fixing up your house so that when you sell the value of your house will rise. Some people may wonder why you would borrow money only to have to pay it back to improve the value of your house but it is not a zero sum equation. Rather, your house increases in value at a greater rate than the money you spend to improve it! That’s leverage! Finally, there are other kinds of loans you may want to consider as well. These are just regular loans will help pay for things that you want but that you do not have money for right now. For example, a vacation or an emergency or a fancy sports car! Whatever it is you decide to buy, using a secured loan will help you get it at a reasonable rate and an affordable repayment term. Illegal Aliens and the Carwash Business Discussed

By Lance Winslow Most people are well aware of those businesses in the United States of America who routinely hire illegal aliens and illegal immigrants who have snuck over the US-Mexican border and come to our great nation illegally. In fact most people can rattle off 5 or 6 industries where illegal aliens typically work and most US citizens are well aware of why these employers are hiring them and about the average wage these people work for. Most Americans realize that the business owners exploit and degrade these people to attain higher profits for themselves and do so knowing that they are hiring illegal aliens who are a severe burden on the taxpayer, yet do not care, as they only see their own short term profits and do not care about the United States of America, our economy or your childrens future with no social security, a government in severe debt and a country in ruin. Most people are also aware that there are illegal aliens and illegal immigrants working at their local carwash, yet they say nothing, even though their car wash owner there is one of those greedy human rights exploiters who is allowing these illegal aliens a reason to come here and knows darn good and well the problems this causes for our economy. Most people will not turn in their local car wash and therefore most people are complete hypocrites and most of these people should shut up or make that call. “Lance Winslow” - Online Think Tank forum board. How Real Is Perception?

By Larry Galler Recently I was talking to a businessperson about the relative popularity of competing products when there may not be much, if any, difference in the effectiveness but there is a large difference in the sales volume. She stated, with a roll of the eyes, Well, I guess perception is reality and I smiled as I agreed with her. Later, curious about our conversation, I looked up the definition of the word perceive and found the following, to become aware of through the senses. Then I went into that mental state of pondering, considering, and analyzing our conversation with the knowledge gleaned from my trusty dictionary. There are some products or services (or some parts of a product or service) that we can measure various attributes such as size, weight, speed, volume, price, etc. If we are talking about a product or service that is measurable then the measurement is actually the reality. There are other attributes that we measure emotionally or intuitively where the measurement is done by our senses such as the way we feel or perceive quality; where our perception is the only measurable reality. It would probably take scientific equipment to discover the relative cleaning qualities of competing hand soaps but some people feel that their hands are cleaner when they use one brand over another because their sense of smell makes them perceive a difference and therefore create more value in the brand that, to them, has a more pleasing fragrance. The addition of fragrance does nothing for the cleaning qualities of the soap but makes a huge difference in the perception of quality and value. Which leads me to ask a number of questions about which attributes of the products or services you sell are actually measurable, which are perceived and what can you do to increase the perceived quality, the perceived value, and the perceived preference for your products, services, and company. Figure that out and you wont have to roll your eyes when the topic of reality vs. perception comes up because both reality and perception are real. Cheap Finance is Possible, Secure your Bad Credit Home Loans

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Kate_Ross]Kate Ross So you find yourself in quite a predicament, you need a mortgage loan but your current financial situation has become an obstacle and you are starting to despair. Take advantage of current market conditions Well, dont. There are many lenders willing to offer you financial options even with bad credit and not because of the goodness in their hearts but because the financial industry has become so competitive that everyone is struggling to get clients. You should take advantage of this situation and harvest the benefits of lower interest rates and longer repayment terms. How Bad Credit Mortgages work Bad credit mortgages are just like common mortgages, the difference resides in the repayment program. This kind of loans has a more flexible repayment program, the repayment terms are longer and the monthly payments lower. The lenders want to make sure youll be able to repay the loan so though the interest rates may be higher than common mortgages, the monthly installments will be reduce by extending the loans length. By offering such convenient and affordable installments, the lenders ensures that the risk of missed payments and late payments is reduced to a minimum while at the same time getting a big return on the money theyve lent. As stated before, every day, there are more and more lenders willing to take the risk and offering bad credit home loans for people in financial troubles. Bad credit, no credit and even past bankruptcies are not a problem anymore if you are looking for finance. However interest rates vary a lot so be careful which lender you choose to make business with; you may end up overpaying for your loan. Choosing the right lender can save you thousands of dollars. A thorough research is thus suggested. You should request quotes from many lenders and compare the rates and other conditions. Only after you are well informed about all the options available to you, should you make a decision on this matter. Search for Online Quotes Bare in mind also that the technology has come to our aid and that there are many online companies that specialize in providing access to many mortgage lenders. You can use their services to apply online without having to move from your home and you can do so even at non business hours. This way you can get in one day the information that otherwise would take you months to manage to get. Basically, you need to search online for mortgage loan lenders and request loan quotes so you can compare the interest rate, loan length, monthly installments, fees, costs and any other loan term that you might be interested in such as grace periods, prepayment penalties, etc. Kate Ross is a professional consultant with fifteen years in the financial field. A Variola Story

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tyler_Brooker] Tyler Brooker Let me start by introducing myself; my name is Variola. It is a latin name, so most people just call me “Smallpox”. I’m not going to lie to you, I am a horrible friend. I tend to keep you all to myself during our time together. I am highly contagious and only like to hang around with humans, as other mammals scare me. I can attack you in 2 forms: Variola major and Variola minor. [http://www.myvariola.com ] Variola major owns my more devilish qualities. In this form I tend to kill about 35% of those I get tied up with. Now, if me and you are to become friends, you should probably request that I give you my brighter side, Variola minor. This way, you only have a 1% chance of our friendship ending in death - to you. In the 20th century, I was responsible for up to 500 million fatalities. If, after my wrath, you survive, I make sure that I have left my mark. You’ll be very lucky to forget about our little fling, as in most cases I leave you with scars known as “potmarks”. And I’m merciless when it comes to that. I don’t mind leaving them anywhere and everywhere on your body, including your face. If you are even luckier, I will simply leave you blind so that you do not have to look at your scarred body in the mirror everyday. I do this through “corneal ulcerations”, which is not in the least bit enjoyable for you. After telling you this story my message should be clear; STAY AWAY! If you see me coming, pretend as if you didn’t notice, and walk slowly in the other direction. The Motorola KRZR: Pretty, But Practical?

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Daniel_Swensen]Daniel Swensen One of the latest cell phones to come out from Motorola is the KRZR, a slimmer, sleeker version of the Razr, with an emphasis on style and portability. But does the KRZR have the horsepower to go with its pretty face? Here are some details. Look and Feel The primary selling point of the KRZR is its size, which, admittedly, is tiny. The KRZR is one of the smallest phones on the market right now, and, at just over half an inch thick, it’s not a phone for someone who loses things easily. The KRZR is a little longer than your average phone, but much slimmer — thinner than a deck of cards. The tiny form factor ensures it won’t take up much space in your pocket, but you might want to consider purchasing a slipcase for it if you don’t want it to disappear entirely. In addition to its size, the KRZR’s appeal also lies in its slick design. The KRZR is a phone designed to look good, with a slick metallic finish and sleek lines. It’s a good-looking phone, if you’re into that sort of thing, and makes a nifty showpiece. If you have friends who love to coo over the latest gadgets, the KRZR will probably make them sufficiently jealous. Features The features of the KRZR depend largely on what carrier you have. Currently, the KRZR is out for Sprint, Verizon, Cingular, Alltel and U.S. Cellular, with a KRZR for T-Mobile supposedly coming soon. Because the features vary by carrier, you may want to do a little research before deciding if the KRZR is right for you (if a 2.0 MP camera is important to you, for example, it should be noted that the [http://www.wirefly.com/catalog/Cingular_Wireless/Motorola/KRZR-K1/]Cingular model is the only KRZR that has one — the others check in at 1.3 MP). Generally speaking, the Sprint and Verizon editions of the KRZR are generally the most loaded, with the Cingular model coming in third. The Sprint and Verizon models benefit from the more advanced features those carriers offer; both offer GPS capabilities, TV-on-demand, and music store downloads, although extra fees almost certainly apply in both cases. Beyond that, however, the KRZR’s features are generally uniform for every carrier. The KRZR comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera (except, once again, the Cingular’s 2.0 MP camera) and an onboard music player. Sprint’s music player has slightly broader support than the other models; where all other versions of the KRZR support MP3 playback, the Sprint KRZR also plays AAC and AAC+ formats. Each model has touch-sensitive controls on the outside, so you can listen to music without having to keep your phone open. In addition, all of the KRZR models feature wireless Bluetooth support, meaning they’ll work with the latest Bluetooth accessories, and most come with expandable microSD memory. Ringtones, games and other features will, of course, vary by carrier, and if you’re a T-Mobile customer, unfortunately, you’ll have to wait just a little bit longer to find out what the KRZR has to offer. Final Notes The one major drawback to the KRZR is its price tag, which some might find a little steep. However, this doesn’t have to be a problem, if you do a little homework and find a good deal online. Many online carriers offer a KRZR for free if you sign up with a wireless plan. That’s an easy way to get around the price tag if there ever was one. The KRZR is definitely not your basic ride, and may not be for everyone. But if you want a phone that does everything you want, and looks good enough to show off in the bargain, the KRZR is very much worth looking into.
